She was born on November 24, 1946 in Augusta, GA, a daughter of the late John A. and Virginia Beard Mixon.
Linda is survived by her son, Michael (Donna) Chastain; daughter, Kendra (Latawrence Hobbs) Chastain; four grandchildren, Ethan, Hannah, Noah and Ryan Chastain; sister, Patsy Ann (Rex) Faulkner; niece, Rexanne Faulkner.
Visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm, Monday, October 9, 2023 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, October 9, 2023 at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta. Friends invited.
