Lester worked for Club Car for 30 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, racing and hanging out with his friends.
Lester is preceded in death by his parents Ivan Lester and Gloria Henthorne. He is survived by his siblings Ivan Henthorne, Janet Henthorne, Nancy Van Duyn, Karen Jones and Margaret Henthorne, as well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Lester will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA 30906. A graveside will occur Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 3:00 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30906.
