Augusta, Georgia- Mr. Leroy Fields Jr. entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 30, 2018. Leroy was a family man. Some of his most found times were cookouts with those that he loved. He earned his third degree black belt in Karate and was a Karate instructor. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Leroy Fields Sr. and Algia Fields; a sister, Gloria Newlin and brother, Leon Fields.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 43 years, Barbara Fields; children, Lamont Fields, Angela Fields, Robert Fields; grandchildren, Larry Walker II, Brendon Walker, Makayla Hornsby, Ni’Veya Chappell, Alyssa Figueroa; sisters, Waltina Newlin, Cleahester Kovie, Margaret Ambrose, Tamie Fields and Naomi Thomas; brothers, Ronald and Francisco Fields.
The family will be receiving friends 6 PM until 8 PM Friday, Augusta 3, 2018 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 1 PM, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Elliott Sons.
