She is preceded in death by her husband, James H. Blackwell; son, James H. Wisner; and parents, Charles and Beatrice Lewallen. Survivors include her daughters, Mary Young and Patty Taylor (Steve); grandchildren, Sandy Beacham (Benjamin), Cindy Boyd (Lish), Adam Blackwell, Jamie Fulghum (Benjamin), and Dennis Wisner; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; special niece, Corky Stump; and a host of extended family and friends.
Known lovingly as “Gg” to her great-grandchildren, she adored spending time with her grandbabies and loved to be outdoors.
Visitation will be held from 2-4pm on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906. Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm on Monday, June 3, 2019, at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906. Burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA 30906.
