Funeral services will be held 2PM Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at Elliott Sons Funeral Home-Lumpkin Road Chapel with Pastor Terry Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Peck was a member of the The Rolling Red Hatters of The Red Hat Society. She was a member of New Life Christian Center. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Special thanks are extended from the family to The Place at Martinez for their excellent care and love for Katie and to Abilene Baptist Church for their ministry at The Place.

Mrs. Peck was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Vernon Peck; and brother, Donald Smith. Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Smith; and sons, Phil (Susan) Smith and Pat Smith; sisters, Joan Smith, Jean Smith and Myra Cook; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a life-long friend, Willene Nickelson.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2013,

at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia.
