Joyce Ann Welsh

Born and raised in Napa California, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Read.

Mrs. Welsh was an avid volunteer with the Breast Cancer Awareness foundation. She had a passion for drag racing. She was dedicated and devoted to the racing community and they all had a special place in her heart. In her spare time you could always find her in her garden growing flowers or vegetables. She was devoted wife, mother and friend. Joyce especially loved spending time with her family and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents, her daughters Misty Larabee and Dawn Porter.

Mrs. Welsh is survived by her husband Bob Welsh; daughters, Shannon (Billy) Evans; Laura Hitchcox; son, Rob (Teresa) F Welsh III; daughter Ginger Pearson; son Douglas (Irene) Weathershee. She has 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends who she loved dearly.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 6pm until 8pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta.
