IN THE CARE OF
Ms. Janice Eileen Bortz, 69, of Augusta, GA, passed away on July 8, 2013, at Doctor's Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 12, 2013 at 11am in the Mausoleum Chapel of Hillcrest Memorial Park. Born in Neosho, MO, she was the daughter of the late Edward Z. Bortz and Shirley M. Penney Bortz. She was a retired medical lab technician with the Medical College of GA. Janice enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Hephzibah Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly (Steven) Keefer, Hephzibah, GA, brother, Ron Bortz, grandchild, Shelby Leann Keefer. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 11, 2013 from 7-9pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta.
