James B. Coleman

Mr. James Butler “JB” Coleman, 81, of Augusta, Georgia entered into rest on Tuesday, August 24, 2010.

Mr. Coleman is preceded in death by his parents, George and Reba Coleman, Sr; two sisters, Mary H. Huffman and Deanna Morris; and one brother, George Coleman, Jr.

JB was a loving Papa, Dad and friend to many. His passion was cooking and being with his family and pets, Duke and Spot. He was retired from Augusta Air Cargo and formerly was a cook in the United States Army.

JB is survived by his son, Richard A. “Ricky” James; two granddaughters, Samantha R. Workman and Crystal L. James; three sisters, Ann Blackstone, Louise Chapman and Ruby Boyd; one great grandson, Eric; two great granddaughters, Kayla and Braelynn; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral Services will be held 2 PM, Friday, August 27, 2010 in the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Westover Memorial Park.
