Helene Marie Cole

Born in Buffalo, New York on Augusta 15, 1935, Helene was the youngest and last survivor of ten children born to Victor and Teresa Blaskovitz. She was a member of Ladies Auxiliary of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 649 and Ladies Auxiliary American Legion Post 178.

Helene married Myron Cole of Alden, New York in 1952. She is survived by Myron, their four children and spouses; Thomas (Rita), Robert (Donna), Russell and Wyane (David), four grandchildren: Jennifer Martin, Matthew Cole, Caitlyn Cole, and Jonathan Cole, and two great-grandchildren: Andrew and Lauren Martin, together with many nieces and nephews, and her faithful four legged companion, Marvin.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home off of Lumpkin Rd. There will be a private graveside service Monday, September 12, 2016 at 3:00 at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, friends may consider donating to the Georgia Chapter, Augusta Regional office of the Alzheimer’s Association.
