Hazel Jeannine Sanders

Hazel Jeannine was a God fearing woman. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting and sewing. She was a native of Augusta and was a member of the Fleming Baptist Church.

Jeannine is preceded in death by her husband George Edward Sanders Jr; parents John and Hazel Marshall; sister Patricia Brewer. She is survived by her daughters Tina Pusser, Pamela Newman and Vicki Sanders; grandchildren April Derise and Andrea Wright; great grandchildren Scarlett Wright, Savannah Wright and Lacey Derise.

A visitation for Jeannie will be held Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906. An interment will occur Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at 1:20 PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, Georgia 30906.
