Mr. Driggers was born on June 21, 1956 in Pensacola, FL. He was a lifelong cowboy and competed in cutting horse competitions from his teenage years until his last years of life. He is the Owner of Windy Hill Farm in Blythe, GA where he trains cutting horses, cattle and pens to work with his cows and horses. Mr. Driggers also was a dirt track race car driver and owner of several cars in many classes. He was awarded first place and even top 3 in regional racetracks. Greg built a 1975 Chevy Pro Street Truck, “Petty Blue” with an extended wing. It had a 454 engine with a blower motor that was loud and fast. He showed, drag raced and won the GMC Grand Nationals in the mid 1990’s, as the best of Show in America. He also made dozens of prestigious magazine pictures, profiles, centerfolds and covers. He was also an avid boater and slalom water skier. Greg enjoyed being on the water most of his life. Mr. Driggers was the Owner of AAA Gun and Pawn on Tobacco Rd in Augusta Ga since 1985.
Mr. Driggers is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Jean Ryals; and brother, Jeffery Wayne Driggers. Mr. Driggers is survived by his loving wife, Shannon Marie Driggers; children, Victoria Driggers Littrell, Gregory “Buddy” Driggers II; Father, Earl Driggers; siblings, Valarie Diana Driggers, Brett Driggers and Nicki Driggers McFarland; step-children, Lauren Heath and William Heath; and grandchildren Alyssa Driggers, Hudson Driggers, Landon Driggers, Callie Littrell, Hanna Littrell, Gabe Littrell, Stella Littrell and Luna Pagan.
Mr. Driggers funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 7pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin Road. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27th from 5-7pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Red Level Cemetery in Crystal River, FL.
