Gisela W Sager

Mrs. Sager was born to the late Hans and Anne Wohlers in Burgi, Germany. She was a member of the German Club in Aiken and also the Former German Club in Augusta, GA. She was a proud mother of her son, Gunter. She adored being his mother and often praised him for his achievements, but also would correct him if needed in a stern, but loving way. She was an independent person, not wanting others to worry about her.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sager is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sager. Survivors include her son, Gunter Sager; and many extended family and friends in America and Germany.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the charity of your choosing.
