The precious gift of life began on April 17, 1944 for Georgia Beatrice Harris. Her parents were the late Catherine and Nathaniel Harris. She was the youngest of three sisters; Mary (Harris) Johnson being the eldest, and Mabel Harris.
She left home after graduation from Lucy Laney in 1962, and order to dedicate her life to being a Jehovah’s Witness, December 28th, 1963; sharing actively in the Bible’s truths with friends, coworkers, and relatives. While being a faithful servant she would go on to meet her (former) husband, Robert Wiggins. They married in April 20th, 1965 and share two children, Tammie L. Walton (Wiggins) and Robert N. Wiggins. Those two children would bless her with a host of grandchildren, Demarius Wiggins, Olivia Clayton, Soliél Lindsey, Tajie’l Paden, Miles Walton, Ciera Gadson, Keneshia Moye, Robert Wiggins II, Esaysas Walton, and Jamal Green. She then made the step from grandmother to great grandmother as her great-grandchildren, Samaad Jones-Lindsey, Lailah Paden, Brandon Gadson, Aaliyah Gadson, and Aegon Moye made their entrances into the world. And also her nephew, Anthony Johnson (Jacqueline), and her niece, Sybil Harris (deceased).
August 21st, 2020 her mission of being a devoted servant to Jehovah, mother, friend, and spiritual sister was completed while surrounded by family at her home.
Georgia had actively shared proclaiming the kingdom's good news. She was truly convinced of, one of the many truths Jesus promised that many peoples of nations, that are now dead will live again. They are to live on this earth under his heavenly rulership and have the prospect of remaining forever in paradisaic and peaceful conditions. (Revelations 21:3-5; John 5:28; 1 Thessalonians 4:13,14 and Isaiah 33:24)
Until then may your memories bring you joy and comfort. Joshua 1:9.
