Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in the Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Rd. Chapel. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Elliott Sons Funeral Home Lumpkin Rd.
Mrs. Tanner was a native of Edgefield SC., having lived in Augusta for Many years. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her two daughters, Judy Waldrop, Patricia Smith, both of Augusta; her sister, Ruby Sparks, Blyth; grandchildren, Steven Mote, Falicia Hurt, April Strother, Ashley Strother, Matthew Smith, and Timothy Allen. Her great-grandchildren, Jeremy Strother, Angel Marie Smith, Jasmine Grace Smith, Seth Paul Hurt, and Madison Lynn Hurt.
