Enrique G. Maldonado entered into rest on August 1, 2023.
Enrique dedicated his life to serving in the United States Army. He was a God fearing man. He enjoyed making people laugh. He was the most compassionate and caring person anyone ever met. He had a heart of gold and he made a difference to everyone he met. He was loved by all for his easy going and giving personality.
He is predeceased in death by his parents Fermin and Guadalupe Maldonado.
Enrique is survived by his wife Amalia Maldonado, of 50 years; sons Oscar (Kristina); son Enrique; grandchildren Miquel (Corinne); Selena A. Ozawa (Zachary); Cecilia; Sofia; Maya; Alejandro and great grandchild Aella.
A visitation for Enrique will be held Monday, August 7, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, Georgia 30906. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lumpkin Road Chapel followed by internment at Bellevue Memorial Gardens 4501 Wrightsboro, Road Grovetown, GA 30813.
