Mrs. Eileen OReagan Dillard

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11am in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Pastor Tony Henderson. Entombment will follow in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Justin Dorris, Christopher Dorris, Derek O’Mahoney, James Morris, Jr., David O’Mahoney, Albert Dillard, Jr., honorary pallbearers Jeffrey Maddox, and Michael T. Whoeler.

Born in Shanballymoor, Cork, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Ned and Margaret Roche O’Reagan. She moved to the Augusta area in 1966 and attended Clifford Memorial Presbyterian Church. Eileen enjoyed camping, gardening, painting, and decorating. One thing people knew when they met Eileen was they had a friend for life and that she could light up a room when she entered.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Trooper Patrick O’Mahoney, son, Patrick O’Mahoney, granddaughter, Belea Lively Davidson, sisters, Elizabeth O’Reagan, Margaret Barrett, and brother, Thomas O’Reagan. She is survived by her husband, Albert H. Dillard, Sr., children, Margaret O’Mahoney-Dorris, Evans, GA; David (Tammy) O’Mahoney, Saluda, SC; Breeda O’Mahoney, Augusta, GA; Sandra Elliott, Savannah, GA; Pam (Mike) Rosier, Martinez, GA; Stephanie (Lucky) Starkey, Augusta, GA; Debbie (Mike) Amerson, Martinez, GA; Roy (Lynn) Dillard, Hephzibah, GA; Albert Dillard, Jr., Appling, GA; Troy (Sandy) Dillard, Augusta, GA; sister, Joan Walsh, County Cork, Ireland, twenty seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and her favorite pet Fritz Dillard.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 6-8pm at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta.
