Deric Marketh Smith

Mr. Deric Smith was born April 5, 1977 to Patricia Garner and Sammy Willingham in Allendale County Hospital. Deric attended school early in Allendale County and later moved to Florida where he graduated from Coconut Creek High School in Coconut, FL. Deric was known for his great cooking, especially his famous ribs. He was loved by many. He had the smile that could light up an entire room.

Deric is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Helen Hearley. Deric leaves to cherish his fond memories four sons, Deric Smith Jr. of Dania, FL, Justin Smith of Tampa, FL, Jaavon Markeis Duchatrlier-Smith and Jaavarri Deieric Duchatrlier-Smith of Coconut Creek, FL; daughter, Taliyah Diana Smith of Coconut Creek, FL; sister, D’Atra Walker of Raleigh, NC; a host of aunts, uncles and loving cousins; and a very caring best friend, Darren Burton Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 1pm, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
