Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 6, 2012 at 11am at Elliott Sons Funeral Home, Lumpkin Road Chapel. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Born in Gary, IN, he was the son of the late Paul and Helen Olive McCabe Newlin. He moved to Hephzibah over thirty years ago. David was a retired engineer from the US Army.
He is survived by his wife Ok Son Kim Newlin, sister, Barbara (Leroy) Fields, Augusta, brothers, Gerald (Tina) Newlin, Atlanta; Michael Newlin, Tulsa, OK.
The family will receive friends Thursday, January 5, 2011 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
