Cynthia Nichole Greene lost her 3 year battle with cancer on Thursday, September 28, at Augusta University Medical Center. Nichole, 43, was a lifelong resident of North Augusta, S.C., and a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She attended and graduated from North Augusta High school. Nichole fought a courageous fight against cancer and was an inspiration to many. She has been described as "funny, quick-witted, and loyal." She loved to laugh and dance and enjoyed spending time with friends.
Nichole is survived by her mother and step-father, Debbye Branch Alexander and Ben Alexander and her father Jim Keen. Other survivors include her son, Hunter Barker; daughter, Maddie Greene; granddaughter, Audrey Barker, all of North Augusta, SC; brothers, Sefk Alexander of Washington, D.C. and Drew Alexander of Beverly Hills, CA; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Nichole was the beloved granddaughter of Mattie H. Branch, Jackson, S.C. Special thanks to close friend, Tracy Dorr.
