Catherine Virginia Jones Rogers, 85, entered into rest on December 22, 2021.
Ms. Rogers adored her family and spending time with them. Ms. Rogers also previously worked as a secretary for Pine Hill Baptist Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading novels, needle point and crocheting.
Ms. Rogers is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Junior Rogers; and daughter, Janice Leigh. Survivors include her daughter, Alice Moyer; brother, William Preston Jones; grandchildren, Naaman Smith, Jason Smith and Caleb Smith; great-grandchildren, Lexie Hargrave-Smith, Elijah Smith, Alysabeth Smith, Joshua Smith, Chloe Smith and Alaina Smith.
Funeral services will be held at 10am on Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
