Ms. Barbara enjoyed watching golf, reading newspapers and doing crossword puzzles. She attended Tubman Jr. College in Augusta, GA. She was the first female Stock Broker in Augusta and the second in the state of Georgia. She retired when she was 72 years old. Barbara enjoyed life to the fullest. She traveled the world to many different places throughout her life.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, Leo A. Price and Grace S. Price, all of her siblings and her cat, Magnolia. Survivors include her nieces and nephews, Leo (Kathy) Price, Debbie (David) Willis, John (Dawn) Price, Patricia (Gary) Johnson, Patti Welch, Paul Morris and John (JoAnn) Morris; and special friend/caregiver, Christeene Phiniezy.
The family will receive friends from 6-8PM, Monday, February 20, 2017 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home on Lumpkin road. Funeral services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Lumpkin Road Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home.
