Barbara A. Richardson

Ms. Richardson grew up on a farm and was very adventurous, she liked to travel and enjoyed Bluegrass and Gospel music. She also loved children and dedicated her love and time to her church nursery and the Girl Scouts.

Ms. Richardson is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar A. Richardson Jr. She is survived by her children Vicky (David) Claborn. Andy (Gloria) Richardson, and Leslie (Lee) Clements; her grandchildren James A Richardson Jr, Vanessa Richardson, Rebecca Claborn and Jacob Clements; her great-grandson Hunter Richardson; and her brother Archie Black and sister Sandy Black along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews all of whom she loved dearly.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Elliott Sons Funeral Home located at 2524 Lumpkin Road, Augusta, GA 30906 officiating clergy will be Rev. Charles "Duke" Quarles. The family will receive friends during visitation at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
