Mr. Albert F. “Doc” Blanchard, Sr., 88, loving husband to the late Peggy JoAnn Blanchard entered into rest on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at his home. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. He was born in Hector, New York to the late Chester Blanchard and Lena Dorn.
Al retired from the U.S. Army at the rank of Sergeant Major in 1973. He was also retired from the Veterans Administration and the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include his sons, Albert F. Blanchard, Jr., and his wife Cindy of North Augusta, SC and Steve Blanchard of Augusta; granddaughter, Adrianne Johnson and her husband Scott of North Augusta; brother, Robert Blanchard of Horseheads, New York.
