Suzy Christine Wilson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Suzy C. Wilson of Eagle Lake, Florida. On October 3, 2024, at the age of 67. She was a member of Turning Point Worship Center of Bartow, Florida. A wife, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, and friend to all. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Suzy was a successful businesswoman, who was the president and co-owner of Wilson Auto Mall Inc. She was also very involved in the community as a member of the city commissions and Mayor of Eagle Lake. But most importantly, she was the true matriarch of the Family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Winston Patterson and Louise Poole and daughter; Brenda Enriquez. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Jimmie Wilson, sons; Jimmie Wilson II (wife Joy Wilson) and Gene Dunn, daughters; Katrina Barnhill, Kathrine Farrer, and Melissa Mitchell, 22 grandkids and 18 great grandkids.

Suzy was never more than a phone call away to offer her children words of encouragement, love, and direction. We will all recall her encouraging words and as heartbroken as we are we will have the assurance that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. We know exactly where she is, so we have the comfort of knowing we will see her again.
