Shirley was a homemaker and missionary, and was a member of Gracepoint Church as well as the Domata School of Missions.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Gary Halverson; children, David Denison of Jacksonville, FL, Tim Denison of Winter Haven, FL, Chris Halverson of Winter Haven, FL, Tiffany Halverson of Tampa, FL, Amy Gress of Tampa, FL, and Hollie Gainey of Brandon, FL; as well as her sister, Becky Eichold of Taylor, MI; 18 grandchildren, Ryan Denison, Tabbitha Wright, Nathan Halverson, Jacob Denison, Zachary Denison, Emilee Denison, Paige Denison, Drew Denison, Lydia Carpenter, Alex Farmer, Joshua Gress, Amelia Pickett, Vanessa Escobar, Valerie Escobar, Jamie Gress, and Emma Gainey; as well as 18 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 10th from 1:00-2:00PM followed by a funeral service at 2:00PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home at Glen Abbey.
Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
