Shirley Jeanette Aaron, age 84 entered into rest on Thursday, September 1, 2022. Shirley was born November 26, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, the daughter of Blaine Langston and Dorothy (Robinson) Langston.
She was an avid reader who could usually be found reading a mystery novel or working on her needle point. She was also a loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with the grandkids or her special dachshund, Princess.
Shirley is survived by her children; Chris Anderson (Mary), Harry Anderson (Teresa), Martha Aaron, and Pauletta Aaron; as well as 24 grandchildren, and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loyce Aaron; her brother, Harry Langston, and her parents.
A visitation for Shirley will be held Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home, 2198 K Ville Ave, Auburndale, Florida 33823, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM.
Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
Shirley will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Hayti, MO.
