Rosa Lee Boone

Rosa was born in Cautaula, Ga. On September 26, 1917. She married Floyd Jackson Boone on December 1, 1936 in Dade City, Fl and then lived in Winter Haven, Fl. for all her 73 plus years of marriage. Rosa was a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister to her family. She was a very strong Christian lady with a love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that was such a testimony to all who knew her. She will be missed very much.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Boone; siblings John Landress, Warren Landress, Blanchard Landress, Margaret (Landress) McDonald ; daughter Norma Rae Boone; parents Jessie Lee and Susie (Pearson) Landress. She is survived by one sister Gloria Boone; children Eunice Florine Smith of Orlando, Fl, Jacqueline Cannon (Billy) of Auburndale, Fl, Rosemary Bailey (Randy) of Winter Haven, Fl ; grandchildren Jeffrey Allen Smith, Wesley Kevin Smith, Timothy Joel Cannon, Tina Lynn Roark, Christy Michelle Westall, and five great grandchildren Christopher Smith, Dylan and Brooke Westall, Carson and Hayden Roark.

Visitation will be Friday April 29 from 6 to 8 pm with funeral services on Saturday April 30 at 10:30 at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home at Glen Abby, 2200 K-Ville Ave, Auburndale, Fl. In lieu of flowers remembrances of Rosa can be made to Lake Shipp Baptist Church Building Fund , 92 High St., Winter Haven, Fl 33880 or to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale Fl 33823.
