Pete Rogers, 86, of Lakeland, Florida passed away on February 1, 2020. He was born in Dover, New Jersey on December 09, 1933. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. During his time in the Air Force he met his wife, Claris “Jo”. Pete loved swimming and taught many of the children of other service members in Japan to swim. After his time in the Air Force he worked as an on the road salesman. He was involved in the Mason’s and Shriner’s and also loved being involved in chorus and the theater.
Pete is survived by his wife, three children, Brent, Pamela, and Gregory, four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 1 p.m. at Lake Morton Plaza in Lakeland, FL.
