Patrick Vincent Mattie, age 88, of Lakeland, Florida entered into rest on Sunday, August 27, 2023. He was born on September 21, 1934 in Nova Scotia, Canada.
Partick proudly served in the United States Marines for 20 years. After retirement, Patrick focused on breeding and showing his beloved Chihuahuas, was AKC certified, and had shown over 30 champions. In his spare time he also loved watching baseball, especially the Braves and Rays.
Patrick is survived by his daughter, Patricia Mattie, sisters, Viola Culver and Anna M. Malone, as well as one grandson, Damon Patrick Mattie, and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Ted Mattie.
