Auburndale – Michael Earnest Hampton, age 58, died November 1, 2012 due to lung failure. He was born July 27, 1954 in Highlands City, FL. He was owner of Custom Welding & Fabrication and an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider.
Mr. Hampton is preceded in death by his father: Noble Hampton, mother: Mamie Porter Hampton, and brother: Jack Hampton. He is survived by his wife of 12 years, Yvonne Hampton, daughters: April Kobayashi (Tommy) of CA and Crystal Locke (Steven) of Auburndale, sisters: Margaret Kishell of CO and Liz Young of OH, and grandchildren: Ashley age 21, Alyssa age 19, Jared age 12, Conner age 5, Keira age 1, and Logan age 1.
Visitation is Monday November 5, 2012 from 1-2pm with services at 2pm both at Ott-laughlin Funeral Home, Auburndale.
