Mrs. Josephine Polston Smith Edenfield, 88, of Clover, SC, passed away Monday, December 19, 2022 at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House, Rock Hill, SC.
Mrs. Edenfield was born October 23, 1934 in Polk County, FL to the late Herman Oakley and Edna Pearl Gentry Polston. She was the widow of George Hicks Smith and James E. Edenfield.
Survivors are her daughters Marcia Smith Hollingsworth (Regie) of Clover, SC and Rhonda Smith Phillips (Ronald) of Cowpens, SC; sisters Patricia Jean Edenfield of Auburndale, FL and Loretta Williamson of Rutherfordton, NC; brother John Harvey Polston (Barbara) of Lakeland, FL; eight grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; step-daughters Mikki and Kelly; and step-sons Dallas and Don.
