James Fred Kempf
February 18, 1939 – June 12, 2023
James Fred Kempf, age 84, of Lakeland, Florida entered into rest on Monday, June 12, 2023 . James was born on February 18, 1939 in Belleville, Illinois, the son of Clem and Adrianna Kempf.
A proud veteran of the United States National Guard for 10 years, James was employed with AAA for over thirty years, as well as a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Lakeland, Florida. He was formerly involved with the Shriners, and loved BBQ, golf, old movies, and Christian music.
Mr. Kempf is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Lana Kempf, son Douglas James Kempf, daughter Julie L. Dunleavy (Tim), as well as grandchildren Ryan William Dunleavy (fiance Rylee) and Brandon James Dunleavy (Emily), as well as Andy, his beloved medium-large dog. He will also be loved and missed by many other family members and friends.
