James Waldo Harrell

Lake Alfred- James W. Harrell, age 86, of Lake Alfred passed away,

Wednesday, November 14, 2018. He was born March 26, 1932 in

Auburndale, FL the son of William Harrell and Lillian Marshall Harrell.

\He was a US Navy veteran serving during the Korean War ( 1950-

1954). He was an Insurance salesman for 34 years with Gulf Life and

American General. He was an avid fisherman spending many days at

Lake Kissimmee's Tiger Camp. He was a loving husband, father and

grandfather.

James is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gloria J. Harrell, children:

Scott Harrell, Kim Pointer (Steve) and Bill Shockley, brother: Stan Harrell

(Vivian), grandchildren: Jason, Eva, Brittany, Tyler and Chase and 4

great grandchildren.

Graveside services are Sunday, November 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at Glen

Abbey Memorial Gardens.

A reception will follow at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home Celebration Room. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Avenue, Auburndale, FL.
