Debra Montague Potter

Debra, known as Debbie, was born in Winter Haven, Florida to Rita and Joseph Montague. She is survived by her beloved husband or 37 years, Jeff Potter, former Mayor and City Commissioner of Winter Haven; endeared children, Ashley Potter Vazquez, Betsy Potter Overstreet, Donovan Seth Potter, and their cherished grandchildren Alexander, August, Rhett, Ella, and Audrey; Debbie's brother Gary Luther Montague.

While raising her family of three children and running a full-time childcare and nonprofit organization, Debbie accomplished obtaining her Associates Degree from Polk State College. Her professional career centered around her passion for children throughout the community and her adored family. She loved spending her free time with her family and traveling.

A celebration of life service will be held at Heartland Church, 225 Ave B NW , Winter Haven, FL 33881, on Saturday January 22nd, 2022. Welcoming hour will be from 9-10AM and the service will be from 10-11AM. If attending, Debbie's wishes were for you to wear your favorite outfit. Colorful attire is encouraged.
