Darleen Marie Fussell, age 83, of Lakeland, Florida passed away Friday, June 7, 2019. She was born April 18, 1936 in Enderlin, North Dakota the daughter of Gordon Homer Cox and Ida Arne Cox. She came here from Clewiston, Florida 54 years ago. She was a Food Service worker for the Polk County School Board. She was of the Jehovah’s Witness Faith. She liked to sew, quilt, play cards and make awesome biscuits.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fussell was preceded in death by her husband Henry “Buster” Fussell. She is survived by her daughters: Donna Page of Lakeland, Teri Hartbarger and husband Paul of Bartow, sister Jean Adams of Clewiston, FL., brother Daryl Cox and his wife Jewel of Labelle, FL., 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Visitation is Friday, June 14, 2019 from 6 till 8 pm with services at 11:00 am Saturday, June 15, 2019, both at Ott-Laughlin funeral Home, Auburndale, FL. Burial to follow in Glen Abbey Memorial Gardens,
