She was born November 3, 1942, in Winter Haven, Florida. The daughter of John Warren and Lois Lee McDonald. She was retired from the Polk County School Board. She attended Willow Oak Baptist Church in Mulberry. Charlotte's family was the most important thing in her life. She loved watching her grandsons, Brandon and Kyle play baseball from little league through college.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Newton. She is survived by her son, Cary Newton (Tracy), daughter Tania Pratt (Darin), grandchildren Brandon Pratt (Hannah), Kyle Newton (Sydney), Brooke Woodbeck and Haley Oh, and great grandchildren Brady Lee Pratt, Sadie Grace Newton, Lucy Rae Newton and Teylie.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Ott-Laughlin Funeral Home in Auburndale, Florida.
