Born in Alabama, Bobbie moved with her family to Winter Haven, Florida, at the age of 13 from South Georgia. After establishing herself in Winter Haven, she devoted over 25 years to working in the citrus industry. Upon retiring, she spent another 7 years working in the transportation department for the Polk County School System.
Bobbie shared 77 wonderful years of marriage with her loving husband, Raymond “Buck” Snipes. Together, they enjoyed many travels, built a beautiful life, and cherished their family.
Her hobbies brought her joy, and she was known for her love of collecting dolls, tending to her flowers, and painting ceramics. She found great happiness in her yard and loved sharing the beauty of her flowers with friends and family. Above all, Bobbie treasured spending time with her family.
As a charter member of Village Church of God in Winter Haven, Bobbie was a faithful servant to her faith and community. Her legacy of love, kindness, and commitment will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
