Anna Marie Wilkin

Anna (Annie) Marie Wilkin (Hicks) was born, July 24th 1946 to Oather Eugene and Noraetta Hicks (both have passed on) in Columbus Ohio. Anna was the wife of the late Richard A. Wilkin. They were married for 53 years. She had 6 siblings, Patty Belmur, Stanley Hicks, Beverly Nguyen(Hicks), Nadine Slack(Hicks), Wayne Hicks and Ernie Hicks (both have passed on). She passed away on the Saturday morning, September 28th, 2024 at 12:14 am at Celebration Hospital in Kissimmee Florida.

In life Anna resided in several different places as an Air Force spouse, winding up in Babson Park Florida. She served many years as a member of the daughters of the The American legion in many posts through the United States. Anna enjoyed sewing, quilting, crocheting, cooking and baking in her free time. She also enjoyed hunting, fishing, as well as, keeping up with family and loved ones through social media. Anna was a loving housewife, devoted mother and loyal friend. She touched many lives throughout her days. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Babson Park, Florida until the day of her passing. Her deviled eggs will be missed by all.

Anna is survived by her daughters Juanita Gentry (Wilkin), Glenda Pittman (Wilkin), her son Paul Wilkin, her grandchildren Brandon Geary, Geoffrey Wilkin, Travis Wilkin, Destinee Soto (Gentry), Amber Fairclaugh (Gentry) and Darius Pitman as well as 3 great grandchildren Ezra Wilkin, Sylis and Atlis Soto, her service dog Princess, her partner Jerry Gentry.

Anna will have a Celebration of Life service on January 18th, 2025 at 12:00 pm, with a luncheon starting at 1:00 PM at First Christian Church in Babson Park Florida, and another service in Alexandria Ohio (Destination and time to be announced).
