Janet Irwin Nydegger born on September 10, 1941 in Lincoln, Nebraska and passed away on May 11, 2017 after a long series of illnesses in Federal Way, Washington. She attended Smith College and graduated from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. She married Daniel Nydegger and moved to Seattle, Washington, finally settling in Auburn, Washington where they remained. Janet is survived by her husband, Daniel Nydegger, her two children, Holly Nydegger and David Nydegger and two grandsons, Michael McIntosh and Lukas McIntosh. Over the years, Janet managed social workers, sold real estate, and became a real estate broker with her own company. She was loyal, social, kind, held strong opinions, and was usually late to most things. She was a wife, mother, and friend to many.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday June 29, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First United Methodist Church, 100 N St SE, Auburn, WA 98002.
