Bernard Irl Harrison passed away on January 23, 2016 in Seattle, WA. He was born on April 16, 1939 to Kathleen McFadden Harrison and Irl William Harrison in Tacoma, Wa. He is survived by his wife Bernadine; his brother Michael Harrison, his children Brenda of Or. , Debbie of Ak., Barney Jr., Michael, Steven Perry, Lonnie Hall, Rick and Rod Gratzer. Four grandsons and 2 great grandchildren. He had been a resident of Pierce County all his life, graduating from Franklin Pierce HS in 57. He then began work recapping tires, construction, logging and acoustical ceiling installer. He built a business “Bee Enterprises” from the ground up, mentoring many young men. He is known as the best Santa ever. Barney was an avid fishermen, from Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, Mexico and off Washington shores. Jeeping was a great joy with his children. He was preceded in death by his mother and father and sister Colleen and her husband Tom and their son Tom Pierce Jr.
Barney would be honored to have donations to Smile Train, “SmileTrain.org” and/or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital “stjude.org” in lieu of flowers.
