Barbara was born in Longview Washington on July 3rd, 1934 to Hazel Naomi Brittell and her biological father, Burl E Shedeck who died in an auto accident just 3 months before she was born.
When Barbara was 2 years old, her mom met Virgil Hixenbaugh. They married and gave Barbara a secure family, with lots of love and a new brother who was 6 years old. Albert Francis Hixenbaugh. (now deceased.)
Barbara attended Auburn High School and graduated with honors in 1952. She married her high school sweetheart, Gene Snodgrass that same summer. They had a son , Kim Gene. Barbara later met and married Leonard C Randall in March of 1959 and had 2 daughters, Jodi Len, and Shawna Lee .
In 1969 , and in her mid thirties, Barbara asked Jesus to be Lord of her life. In 1983, she went back to school to get her Doctor of Philosophy degree. She loved to teach bible classes and talk about the Lord. She had a special interest in helping people learn healthy ways of living by using natural methods. Barbara took joy in her family, and loved spending time with each of them. She enjoyed taking trips to the beach, and little get away vacations with the family. Her laugh was contagious. She was very involved in her neighborhood community, and volunteered as chairman on the landscaping committee for the past 8 years.
Barbara began her journey to live with the Lord on September 20th, 2012, in Tacoma, at her home with family members by her side.
She is survived by her loving husband Leonard Charles Randall, her son, Kim Gene Randall (wife Patti), daughters, Jodi Len Olson (husband Kennet), and Shawna Lee Hart (husbandDaniel).
9 Grandchildren: Tami Shoemaker (husband Jason), Shelly Turner (husband John), Kristopher Olson (wife Crista), Kyal Olson,(fiancée Kristen), Kaliber Olson (wife Christine) Karalee Gregg (husband Jason), Kamron Moses Daniel Hart, and Isaiah Michael Heistand, and . Keone Canianes (wife Lysan)

And 10 and 7/8 Great Grandchildren: Devan Shoemaker, Austin Randall, Duante Shoemaker, Kyalee Olson, Karsten Olson, Kaylee Canianes , Kadin Canianes, Kailia Canianes , Kyndal Caniaes and then Kopeland Victoria Olson (to be born any day now.)
She is also survived by a sister in law, Sandra Hixenbaugh, along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Barbara loved them all.
