Alice Jean Kliemann, 89, passed away January 3, 2014. Alice was born to Herbert and Verna (Pugh) Montgomery on December 13, 1924 in Baudette, MN. After graduating from Baudette High School in 1942, she came to the Northwest, where she met her future husband. She married Earl Joseph Kliemann April 21, 1944. She became an expert packer, moving 7 times until settling in Auburn, WA, in 1967. Alice loved family gatherings and cooking for a crowd. She was an amazing and generous gardener. Anyone who visited her left laden with fruits, vegetables and flowers. Alice is survived by sons, Earl (Deena) Kliemann of Pt. Townsend, WA, Herb (Laura) Kliemann of Eatonville, WA, Chris (Karen) Kliemann of Renton, WA and Tom Kliemann of Bonney Lake, WA, her daughters, Jean Grass of Buckley, WA, Ruth (Brian) Cantwell of Palo Alto, CA, Cece (Bob) Fitton of Sequim, WA, Alice (Pete) McCauley of Seward, AK, and Anita (Dean) Eixenberger of Lake Tapps, WA, 24 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren, and sisters, Ruth Palm of Pasco, WA and Dorothy Jeffcott of Manitou Springs, CO. A Rosary will be held on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 6:00 PM at Price-Helton Funeral Home in Auburn, Wa. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 505 17th St. SE, Auburn, WA.
