Robert Bertrand Bussiere

He proudly served our country as a Load Master in the United States Air Force from 1966 to 1977. Coming back home to Maine to raise his family.

He loved to hunt and fish until he couldn't and then spent his days with his wife doing puzzles and playing with his dog Bear. A reserved man who loved family gatherings and telling stories.

Bob was predeceased by his parents Walter and Theresa, his brother Richard and grandson Eric. All waiting with open arms to welcome him home.

We would like to thank Togus VA Medical Center and Togus Springs Hospice, for the amazing care and compassion they provided.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Anita and her children Jeff and Lisa. His children Bob Jr. and wife Cathy, Doreen and husband Howie, Tina and husband Tony, and Sarah. Brothers Raymond and partner Connie, Roger, Nelson and sisters Mona and husband Rob and Patty. As well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Family and friends will gather at The Fortin & Pinette Group Funeral Home in Auburn, at 12PM on Tuesday, May 6th, 2025 and will process to the Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery in Augusta for a Graveside Service and Military Honors at 1 PM.
