AUBURN – Richard J. Dixon, 67, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at his home in Auburn with his family by his side. He was born in Portland on February 7, 1949, the son of the late John and Eugenia (Beaulieu) Dixon. Richard was a Devout Catholic and he resided in Maine his entire life. He owned and operated the Commercial Glass Company in Scarborough, Maine. Richard hobbies included hunting and fishing. He would always be seen with his dog by his side.
Richard is survived by his one brother, Jon and his wife Elizabeth Dixon of Las Vegas, NV; his two sisters, Charlene Dixon of Auburn and Marie Samson of Auburn; his step-brother, David Page of Windham; his nieces, Ellie Dixon, Amanda Rodriguez, and Elna Rochlin, and his nephews, Joey Dixon and JD Samson. He was predeceased by his parents. Richard and Charlene would like to thank Marc Morin and George and Jill Bourgeois for their love, friendship and support during this difficult journey.
