He was born in St. Ludger, Quebec, Canada a son of the late Ovide and Rose-Aimee (Morin) Pare. He was educated in Canadian schools.
Raymond was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Lewiston and was a fourth degree Knight of Columbus as well as an active member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was also a past president of the Richelieu International Club.
An entrepreneur, Raymond owned and operated several businesses in the Lewiston-Auburn area alongside his wife Gisele.
He was a devoted father and enjoyed the times he spent with family and friends. He is survived by his two daughters Danielle Pare and Linda Pare and his two sons Marc Pare and Michael Pare. He also leaves six grandchildren Jessica, Matthew, Amanda, Ryan, Nicole and Cara and seven great grandchildren, Avah, Olivia, Cole, Gavin, Devin, Noah and Madison.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 1 - 3 pm at The Fortin & Pinette Group, 217 Turner Street, Auburn, ME. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday at 11 am at Holy Family Church, 607 Sabattus St, Lewiston, ME.
