Jacob "Bean" Tyler Richards

Jacob was born in Lewiston on August 8th, 2006, a son to David Richards Sr. and Tara Kent and attended schools in Lewiston and Auburn.

Jacob loved Yu-Gi-Oh cards and anything related to Pokemon. He enjoyed doing various kinds of craft projects and giving them to his friends and family. Prior to his diagnosis, Jacob spent most of his time outdoors enjoying nature. Anyone who knew Jacob was aware of his fond love for animals. He was always trying to bring home a new animal in need.

Jacob had the biggest heart and was the most selfless boy anyone could meet. He was always going out of his way to help others and make people smile.

He is survived by his loving mother Tara Kent and his older brother David "Dj" Richards and girlfriend Adrina Hood of Auburn, his father David Richards Sr. and wife Katelin of Gouldsboro, as well as his half brothers Cameron Guimond and Raiden Richards. He also leaves behind his grandparents as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Ashley Kemp and her husband, Nurse Kim and Jesse Nuzzo for all the help and support along the years, as well as a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Androscoggin Hospice House who cared for Jacob.

A visitation at The Fortin Group in Auburn for Jacob will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at The Fortin Group in Auburn at 6:00 PM.
