Auburn - Jackie Lynn Hudson 60, of 27 Lower St. Turner was called home by our heavenly father. He died peacefully on Thursday April 4, 2013 at Hospice House of Androscoggin Care & Hospice with his family by his side. Jackie was born in Bastrop, La. on December 28, 1952 the son of Thomas D. Hudson and Lucy Goodman Bennett. He graduated from Bastrop High School with the class of 1972. Jackie began his life long journey with his loving wife Teresa in 1975. He was a loving and caring man always willing to listen and talk for hours. He was a true friend. He loved spending time with his son and grandchildren more than life itself. Jackie was a member of the Army National Guard in LA and worked as a machine operator in Bastrop at the International Paper Mill for 10 years and then for the past 25 years at Verso Paper Co. in Jay, Maine He was the president of Western Maine Anglers and a member of Bass Federation. He enjoyed tournament fishing, fishing for crappie with is fishing brother Darryl , watching NASCAR racing, hunting and snowmobiling. He was also a member of Trinity Assembly of God Church and the NRA He will be remembered for the way he loved his family and friends. The countless hours of conversation. The gentleman that he was, he always went out of his way to help anyone that needed help. He is survived by his wife the former Teresa McLeod of Turner whom he married October 4, 1975, a son Christopher Hudson of Turner, his grandsons Reilly and Cole Hudson, his mom Lucy Bennett of Haughton, La, his sisters, Beth Shepherd and husband Johnny of Haughton, LaPatty Sims and husband James of Bastrop, La., his mother -in-law Elizabeth McLeod of West Monroe, La. He was predeceased by his grandparents Mattie and WH Goodman, father and stepmother Thomas and Aline Hudson, father-in-law Alexander McLeodand stepfather Tom Fallin. The family wishes to thank Doctor Daniel Raush. The doctors and nurses of M1, and 3rd floor of CMMC, Tammy Bean, Kathy Amsden of Androscoggin Home Care. The employees of Androscoggin Hospice House.
