

Fernand “JR” Henry Sabourin, III, 29, of Lewiston, passed away December 15, 2020. He was born in Jacksonville, FL on February 12, 1991. JR earned his high school diploma from Haney Technical Center, Panama City, FL and attended Eastern Maine Community College, Bangor, ME working towards a Liberal Arts Degree.
At the time of his death, JR worked for Premier Pools and Spas. He loved his job and the guys he worked with. They quickly became just like family. JR had a passion for fishing, disc golf and the great outdoors. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially when food was involved. He loved to cook, especially grilling in the summertime. JR had the heart of a big kid. He was Uncle JR to many kids and they loved him for his fun adventures and silly games. His smile was infectious, and he could always be counted on to make any situation more fun and/or entertaining.
JR is survived by his parents, Fernand “Skip” Sabourin, Jr. and his wife Abby of Lewiston and Veronica (Edwards) Quick and her husband Bruce of Florida, brother Shawn Sabourin and sister Nicole Morgan, both of Lewiston, step-brother Louis Barboza of Biddeford and step-sisters Danica Barboza of Saco and Gabrielle Barboza of Westbrook, nephews Isaiah, Josiah, Dailen and Nathaniel, nieces Ava and Regan. Also, his beloved cat Mixie.
JR was pre-deceased by his baby sister, Samantha Sabourin.
