She was born in Lewiston, on November 3rd, 1953, daughter of Roger and Ludgarde Fortin.
Diane graduated from LHS in 1972, and dedicated her compassion to 38 years of CNA/Med Tech work.
She enjoyed spending all of her time with family - her daughters, grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, but above all, her mother. She was proud of all three of her girls, there was no favorite. Her grandbabies were her pride and joy and one of her favorite titles she ever had, was "Memere".
Her best days were spent on the go, running errands, shopping and "going half" on scratch tickets with her mom. She enjoyed going to the casino and trying her luck at Bingo weekly. Sundays were saved for playing cards at her sister's house.
Diane will be remembered for her unconditional love and unwavering faith in God. Her unmatched positivity will sorely be missed by all who knew her.
Diane is predeceased by her daughter Carol, her grandson Logan, her father Roger and her grandmother Armandine.
She is survived by her daughters Jennifer Nadeau (Christopher), Elizabeth Pelletier, Mary Santamaria (Arsenio), her grandchildren Jasmine, Caleb, Miya, Mason, Marcus and Elijah. She also leaves behind her two sisters Florence Poulin (Larry), Louise Greer (Steve) and her two brothers Donald Fortin (Brenda) and Laurier Fortin (Doreen). Lastly, but most importantly, her mother and best friend Ludgarde Fortin.
