Brenda Sharon Cloutier

Brenda, 82, passed away peacefully at her home in Auburn with family by her side on November 22, 2023. Brenda was born in Auburn in 1941 to Clayton and Thelma Morris and attended Lewiston High School. Later, she married her soulmate, Ed Cloutier, and they had four wonderful children, Debbie, Shelli, Darrin, and Wendy. Her children were her pride and joy and she loved nothing more than watching them grow into successful adults.

In Brenda’s younger years she was an active member of the Girl Scouts as a Troop Leader and was a board member for Auburn Suburban Little League. Brenda later went on to work at their family business, Professional Graphics of Maine, until she retired. Brenda was a voracious reader and was often found with a book in her hand. In addition, she loved to spend time with her family and watch her grandchildren’s sporting events. Brenda was a firm believer in spending time together and never missed an opportunity to host a holiday gathering at her home. Brenda would light up at holiday parties as family would arrive, as nothing was more important to her than her loved ones. As Brenda moved into her senior years and couldn’t go out as often, she loved to watch the birds and deer in the back yard while connecting with people using Facebook. You’d often see her write witty comments on people’s posts and she was always the first to wish others a happy birthday.

Brenda is predeceased by her husband Ed, parents Clayton and Thelma Morris, Sister Patricia D’Eramo, and brother Robert Morris. Brenda is survived by her daughter Debbie and husband Allen Gendreau (Auburn), Shelli and husband Rob Berry (Wells), son Darrin Cloutier (Lewiston), and daughter Wendy Cloutier and Mike Vincent (Westbrook). Grandchildren, Kate Dargie and Leanne Boody, Owen Berry, Adam Gendreau and Brianna Colegrove. Great grandchildren Nyla and Salem Gendreau. Along with many cousins, nieces, and nephews who were all special to her. Brenda has requested a graveside service at Gracelawn. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Androscoggin Hospice House, 236 Stetson Rd, Auburn ME 04210.
